Applications for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program are now open for the 2026–27 school year.
Families have until 11:59 p.m. Central Time on March 17 to submit their application.
Please note that TEFA is not a first-come, first-served program. You may apply at any time during the application window without impacting your child’s eligibility or chances of receiving funding.
This program provides families with greater flexibility and access to educational options that best support their child’s learning journey.
